Every classroom creates their own newsletters which address important classroom notes, upcoming themes and individualized progress reports.
These are not posted online. They are given to parents in the classroom.

Spring is arriving soon on March 20th. Happy spring! We have had a great winter and are looking forward to warm weather and long, sunny days.
Upcoming themes:
March: Continuation of complex shapes
Shapes
polygon (closed figure in which every line intersects with two others)
parallelogram (four sided polygon with two pairs of parallel sides)
rhombus (four sided polygon, all sides are equal in length)
trapazoid (four sided polygon with one set of equal sides)
pentagon (five sided polygon)
hexagon (six sided polygon)
heptagon (seven sided polygon)
octagon (eight sided polygon)
nonagon (nine sided polygon)
decagon (ten sided polygon)
circle (all points are equally distant from the center)
April: Earth Awareness
Importance of trees and plants
Clean air and water
Recycling
How individuals can make changes
May: Community Helpers
Firefighter
Police officer
